Thanks for stopping by my blog and sharing your experiences Mary! It’s definitely faster, cheaper and more efficient here in China but I’ve heard horror stories about overnight stays in the hospitals here. I would like to pass on that experience!

I just came to Beijing 3 months ago. I got my physical 2 weeks after arrival. I was pissed because I spent all that money for health check ups back in the US. Over here, I didn’t have to wear a robe or change my clothes. I had to go twice. The 2nd time was to pick up my results but we realized that I didn’t get the full physical I was suppose to get the 1st time. So I had to get a couple more tests done. They made me get a 2nd blood test, luckily it’s easier and faster than donating blood. My eye test was fine even though I couldn’t read past the first line. I didn’t bring my glasses with me. I heard though, going to a Chinese hospital is not fun. If I could go to a clinic like this back in the US, I’d be happy.

HAHAHA not creepy at all, you’ve heard many of my stories and I’m sure can envision my facial expressions! I totally remember your trip to the hospital in the Philippines. There’s honestly nothing anyone can say to prepare you for a foreign hospital. You never know what you’re going to walk into. Thanks for all your love and support my love! I can’t help but remembering my first time in a foreign hospital in a rural island in the Philippines… I’m sure you remember the story about falling in the woods and having to ride for 2 hours on a scooter back to the closest town… Needless to say I can sympathize with your concern about sanitation.

I am pretty impressed with the assembly line and the spa robe! That’s much better service the we recieve in the states.
